After a successful move into the frontline, Southern Districts goal machine Steven Motlop is poised to be a serious thorn in the side of his former club PINT.
The NT News and KommunityTV will stream every moment of this clash from 5pm on Sunday.
Motlop will meet his former club for the second time this season coming out of the Christmas break, making it into the Crocs best the last time the two sides clashed.
But after a move into the forward 50, which has reinvigorated the ex-Power midfielder with 13 goals in three games, all eyes will be on Motlop in the revenge clash.
The Crocs have also been well-serviced by midfield machine Jed Anderson, who has racked up 267 disposals over the first half of the season, only trailing Tigers workhorse Brodie Filo in that department.
While the Greenants have struggled to put wins on the board this season, they could ask some serious questions of the NTFL ladder leaders.
Christopher Nield has been far and away PINT’s best in recent weeks, while veteran utility Tom Schott has shown plenty of leadership this season.
It’s clear the Greenants are missing the influence of club captain Matthew Ryan on the field, and will be hoping they get him back at some point in the second half of the season.
