Several Territory players and those that have graced the NTFL in recent times have put their hands up for selection in the 2025 AFL mid-season draft.

Former Geelong player Brandan Parfitt leads a group of hopefuls to be picked up for the big league as he stages his return to AFL footy.

The Nightcliff junior kicked a goal for the Cats in their 2022 premiership win but was delisted after the 2024 season.

He returned to his junior club directly following for the 2024-25 NTFL season, helping them to finals, and has since joined Perth in the WAFL.

The 27-year-old midfielder quickly impressed with his new side and has averaged 30 disposals from five games, and has been mentioned as a potential call up for the West Coast Eagles.

Former Essendon draftee Jayden Davey is another to put his hand up for selection after missing out on playing a game in his previous stint on a list.

The Palmerston junior and son of Bomber Alwyn Davey made his return to the Magpies for several games in the back half of the 2024-25 NTFL season and is at Port Melbourne.

Tom McCarthy is seen as a first pick favourite and showed the NT what he could do in a single best on ground showing for Banks in the NTFL Reserves.

The Richmond VFL player picked up about 30 touches on the occasion and is primed for selection on Wednesday night.

NT born Phoenix Spicer is another looking for a way back in having previously played for North Melbourne.

Spicer has since spent some time in the NTFL with the Buffaloes but more predominantly with the Footscray Bulldogs in recent times.

Tiwi ruck Jackson Broadbent and club leader Sam Darley, Nightcliff fly-in pair Riley Baldi and Kye Declase, Palmerston’s Cam Nyko and St Mary’s premiership player Charlton Offermans have also nominated.

As has NTFL best and fairest winner Dom Brew who won an NTFL premiership before taking the captaincy at Werribee where he more recently won the same accolades at VFL level.
