CHAMBER'S Business @ Dusk events are a great way to showcase local businesses and tomorrow night we are looking forward to learning more about DISCO and how Toowoomba businesses can link with this important service.

The Downs Industry Schools Co-Operation Inc (DISCO) is a specialist, not-for-profit, youth agency operating across South West Queensland assisting remote young people aged 14-24, transition through school or from school into further education, training and employment.

The work undertaken by DISCO helps young people to make career choices and develop work skills to contribute to their further education or employment opportunities, but Toowoomba businesses are benefiting as well by partnering with DISCO as a great source of employees, workforce planning and solutions.

Tomorrow night Mr Mike Paton, CEO of DISCO, will be joined on the panel session by local business leader Mr Tim Wheeler, Managing Director of Buchanan Advanced Composites, to hear more about how these two businesses are connected and working together and creating great outcomes for all involved.

The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce are proud to present Business @ Dusk in partnership with the University of Southern Queensland for the Toowoomba business community.

So if you are keen to build your business network, learn more about how your business may work in with the services of DISCO or if you haven't yet experienced the Annex venue - book your ticket now at the chamber website.
