The daughter of an Australian mother missing in Mexico has had an emotional reunion with family.
Mexican and Australian authorities are frantically searching to find Tahnee Shanks, 32, who had been living in Mexico with her partner Jorge Aguirre Estudillo.
The alarm was raised with Queensland Police last week after the Whitsundays woman had not been heard from in several days.
Her former partner is also missing.
The former couple’s two-year-old daughter Adelynn was found wandering the streets near a church.
Ms Shanks’ brother last week said that Adelynn had been dumped at the church by her father.

Overnight, Adelynn was reunited with the help of Mexican authorities with Ms Shanks’ brother and mother Leanne.
“The Shanks family would like to express our deepest thanks to every kind donation and please know that each one has been acknowledged and appreciated from the bottom of our hearts,” the family said in a statement on a GoFundMe page.
“As you may have seen in the media, Addy is now in the safe hands of her Uncle Ben & Nanna Leanne in Mexico.
“Our immediate goal is to get them all home safely as soon as possible but with several hurdles and red tape occurring and this may take some time with the costs mounting daily.
“We remain deeply concerned for the safety and whereabouts of Adelynn’s mother Tahnee at this stage.”
There are grave fears for a Queensland mother missing in Mexico after her two-year-old daughter was found alone on the streets of Cancun at night. Tahnee Shanks' brother, Daniel, told Kochie and Nat he "knew something was wrong" when his sister vanished from social media. pic.twitter.com/OVrhcGNd9a

Ms Shanks was believed to have been travelling to Tulum, about 130km from Cancun, on a short trip with the girl and her ex-partner with whom she had recently separated.
Her family believes she was on the verge of returning to Australia after a relationship breakdown.
Ms Shanks’ family is offering a $5000 reward for information.
Her disappearance has been described as “very out of character”.
