The property has been on the market for a week and will go to auction on Saturday, March 5.

Colliers International Toowoomba real estate agent Dominic Ryan said there weren't many multi-million dollar properties on the market at the moment.

"There isn't a high supply of these homes currently available," he said.

"When these higher end properties do come up, the market is fairly quick to react because people know that once these houses are purchased they aren't on the market again for a long time.

"Although the home is almost eight years old, it is in tip top condition and to build a similar home you are looking at a meterage price of $3500 per square meter to get the same sort of finish."

Domain.com.au shared the home on their Facebook page and it has received more than 1000 likes.

"We had feedback from our rep and that response to a home is huge even on their website," Mr Ryan said.

"They were surprised that a Toowoomba residence received such a high amount of interest.

"I think the wider market is surprised that there are so many multi-million dollar homes in Toowoomba but when they visit our town they realise we have something special."

The 2179m2 residence features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, seven garage spaces, an infinity pool, spa, gym and tennis court.
