A 22-YEAR-OLD man has escaped a Warrego Hwy motorbike crash with a relatively minor injuries.
Helidon police officer-in-charge Sergeant Howard Glass said the Helidon man was riding west when he swerved to miss a kangaroo at Helidon Spa, about 10.20pm yesterday.
Sgt Glass said the man was wearing full protective riding gear.
"It was not as bad as it could have been," Sgt Glass said.
The man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury.
