IRREPLACEABLE military medals and memorabilia has been returned to the rightful owner after investigations into a burglary in Rangeville.
Four people have been charged with various offences after Toowoomba police made a public appeal for information last week.
Between December 21 and January 13, the victims were on an overseas holiday when they returned home to find their house, on Perth St, had been unlawfully entered and property had been stolen.
Items stolen included Australian Defence Force medals inscribed with the victims' service numbers, Royal Australian Air Force ceremonial swords, military identification cards, Australian Defence Force collector coins, a 32 inch Samsung TV, two acoustic guitars, jewellery, perfumes, a Dell laptop and two Samsung laptops.
Property Crime Unit detectives located the items and filed charges against four people including two 17-year-old men.
Police charged a Toowoomba man, 17, with burglary after he was questioned last Wednesday.
He will appear in court in coming weeks.
A Helidon man, 34, and a Withcott man, 17, were also charged with burglary.
Police will allege the military medals were recovered at the property where the two men were found by officers.
Detectives searched a Lowood property on Friday where they allegedly located a military sword.
A Lowood man, 42, was charged with property offences as well as some drug charges.
