The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed in a nearby paddock and the aeromedical crew helped paramedics treat the man for multiple trauma injuries.

The man was then airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.

It was a busy weekend for RACQ LifeFlight, with a Toowoomba man also airlifted to hospital after a motocross incident.
