Man taken to hospital after Toowoomba Range crash

Emergency services were called to the scene, near the bottom of the crossing, at 12.40pm yesterday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a man, 65, was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with a cut to his head.

TUESDAY: A car and truck have collided on the down-section of the Toowoomba Range causing extensive delays.

One lane of the eastbound section of the Warrego Hwy has been closed as emergency services attend to the crash.

There is currently heavy traffic congestion to the top of the Range.

The male driver of the vehicle involved has been injured in the crash, which occurred about 1.10pm.

Police are currently speaking with the driver of the truck involved, which continued travelling to the bottom of the Range after the incident.
