A MAN suffered critical head injuries in a single-vehicle crash into a tree overnight.
The man, aged in his 30s, was the sole occupant of a car which crashed near Millmerran Leyburn and Tummaville Rd at Leyburn just after 7.40pm.
Queensland Ambulance paramedics were the first emergency services on scene and treated the man for critical head injuries.
Two Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews arrived on scene about 8.20pm, and secured the area.
A QFES spokeswoman said the man was being treated by paramedics when fire crews arrived.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital.
He was transported in a critical condition with head injuries.
