Dalby Road Policing Unit crews detected the 18-year-old Blackwater man speeding near Macalister on Thursday.
Checks on his license found he was unlicensed at the time, and he was given a notice to appear in court.
After police issued the fine and left the scene, they returned a short time later and found the car had driven off.
The same car was later seen driving into Dalby on the Warrego Hwy yesterday when it was intercepted by general duties crews.
