IT SEEMS everyone is heading to Toowoomba to take in the Carnival of Flowers.
Police are warning of delays on the Warrego Highway for westbound motorists after the Lockyer Valley area.
"Major delays for cars travelling westbound between Gatton and Toowoomba due to the Carnival of Flowers and roadworks in the area," the QPS said.
"Allow for a lot of time if you're heading out today."
Thousands of visitors have flooded into Toowoomba for the 69th annual event.

The Grand Central Floral Parade is set to kick off at 3pm with CBD road closures in place.
More than 100 entries will take to the city's streets for the extravagant event which celebrates community, spring and everything floral.
