A SINGLE-VEHICLE crash on the Warrego Highway is causing traffic chaos this afternoon.

One lane west-bound is closed after an incident near Lowood-Minden Rd on the Warrego Highway.

A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman confirmed emergency services were at the scene as the vehicle and debris is cleared from the road.

Emergency services are advising caution for drivers as wet weather hits the region.

A severe storm cell is currently making its way east towards Ipswich, with a severe weather warning issued for Toowoomba and the Darling Downs earlier today.
