Former Cats premiership player Isaac Smith and wife Candace Quinlan Smith have welcomed their newest bundle of joy into the world.
On Wednesday evening, the two adoring parents took to Instagram to post photos of baby Pierce Laurence surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 4 weighing 9 pounds.
In the post, Ms Quinlan Smith said she was “so grateful for our beautiful baby boy.”
It is their third child after firstborn daughter Isla and son Emmett.
Former AFLW player and Channel 7 commentator Abbey Holmes congratulated the couple, commenting “Yay!!!! Congratulations team the sweetest xx”.
Partners of Smith’s former and current teammates, like Sarah Roughead, Emma Stewart, and Georgia Mackie, were also quick to share their congratulations.
Life after football has been busy for Smith, who has taken on a role with radio station Triple M since retiring at the end of the 2023 season.
Ms Quinlan Smith is the business owner and operator of in-home aged care service Home at Heart Geelong.
