In the wise words of the late Jimmy Buffett: ‘it’s 5 o’clock somewhere’ and The Ville Resort-Casino is fully embracing the vibe with five weeks worth of ice-cold margaritas every Sunday, starting this weekend.

The Sunday events are being held on The Ville lawn by the pool in partnership with Casamigos Tequila.

Three of the Sunday events are free entry, while the two which fall over the Easter and May Day long weekends are ticketed at $90 and will feature live DJ sets and music.

The Ville’s GM of food and beverage Philip Cheng said 2024’s Margaritaville season saw nearly 5000 margaritas per event.

“We’re excited to see how many margaritas we sell this year to give back to local charities,” Mr Cheng said.

The Ville will be donating $1 per margarita sold during the two ticketed events to support local charities NQ Food Relief and Townsville Foster and Rehoming Animals.

April 6, 13 and 27 are all free entry, 3pm to 11pm, while tickets are available to the April 20 and May 4 events through Ticketek.
