A Toowoomba food production and delivery business is for sale after recording a 49% growth last year.
iCooked launched in the Garden City in 2013 and was taken over by the current owners Dan and Edwina Farquhar in 2017.
The duo is also behind the popular CBD Finch Cafe.
The success of the cafe has prompted the pair to open a second location, and with all energy going into launching it, they no longer have time to operate iCooked.
iCooked delivers ready-to-serve home cooked meals to Toowoomba residents each Thursday and Tuesday.
They come in various sizes and customers can order as much or as little as they like.
Everything at iCooked is made from scratch with low salt content and they can cater for those who need gluten free meals.
During last financial year the business experienced significant growth due to a growing customer base and the convenience of home delivered food during COVID.
Sales were up 49 per cent, with sales up 10 per cent already this financial year.
The business was also named Retail and Wholesale Micro Business of the Year in 2019 at the Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Awards.
There is opportunity for the new business owner to expand into other regional towns and even Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
iCooked would suit someone with a love of food who is looking for a challenge but doesn’t want the risk of starting a business from scratch.
