Toowoomba’s parks and public spaces were filled with amazing music at the weekend, as the popular Summer Tunes series returns across the region this month.

The Paul Edwards Quintet kicked off the collection of free music concerts, playing a collection of jazz pieces at the Picnic Point band stand on Saturday.

It was the first of many concerts organised by the Toowoomba Regional Council across the city throughout February, with gigs featuring talented local artists also being held at Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park.

Concerts will also be held at Cambooya, Cecil Plains, Crows Nest, Goombungee, Oakey, Pittsworth, Wyreema, Yarraman and Millmerran.
