South Australian police have discovered machetes, daggers, firearms and stolen registration plates in a suburban storage unit.
A man has been arrested after a cache of weapons was uncovered in a South Australian storage unit last week.
South Australian police made the shocking discovery after they conducted a search of the Para Hills West storage unit on November 28.
They located three BB guns, two gel blasters, a taser, an assortment of live ammunition, 25 edged weapons including machetes and daggers, and eight stolen vehicle registration plates.
The man was arrested on the same day and was charged with possessing a firearm without a licence, possessing an unregistered firearm, possessing a prohibited weapon, and unlawful possession.
It will be alleged in court that he owned the storage unit the weapons were found in.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates court on Monday 1 December.
