Huge building company to support next Enterprise Evening

ONE OF Australia’s largest privately-owned building companies has come on board to support Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise’s next Enterprise Evening.

ONE OF Australia's largest privately-owned building companies has come on board to support Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise's next Enterprise Evening in Toowoomba at Blank Space on July 19.

Greg Quinn, managing director of Hutchinson Builders, has been secured as one of the keynote speakers and will provide a snapshot of the recent leadership changes within local Hutchies, as well as the greater Hutchies team across the nation.

Hutchinson Builders team leader, Sean Lees, said Hutchies had been a long-time supporter of TSBE and would use the July 19 Enterprise Evening as a platform to give the market an update on what was new at Hutchies.

"After a record year of turnover in 2017-18, there is plenty going on at the 14 Hutchies offices around Australia," Mr Lees said.

TSBE supply chain general manager, Lance MacManus, said TSBE was thrilled to have the support of such a prominent business and high-profile speaker.

"We are excited to have Hutchies as sponsors for this event, to introduce their new business model and update the local community on their activity," Mr MacManus said.

Mr Quinn's keynote address will be followed by John Zhong, project development and investment director for Risen Energy, who will give an update on Risen Energy's project development in the region, including the recently announced Yarranlea Solar Farm.

Mr MacManus said TSBE looked forward to hearing from both men on the evening.
