Dreamworld brawl: Two 18-year-olds charged with highly public melee
Police have confirmed two teenagers have been charged with assault after an alleged brawl at Dreamworld earlier in January, taking the total number of people charged to three.

Two teenagers have been charged with assault after an alleged brawl at Dreamworld earlier in January that hospitalised three people, taking the total number of people charged to three.
In a statement, a Queensland Police Service spokesman confirmed two 18-year-olds, one from Yamanto, in Ipswich, the other from Upper Coomera, have been charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily armed while armed/in company over the alleged incident.
The Yamanto teen was issued a notice to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 5, while the Upper Coomera teen will face Southport Magistrates Court eight days later, on February 13, also on a notice to appear.
The first defendant charged with the melee, Ormeau man Brendan Damien Jarrett, 24, who is charged with additional offences of dangerous operation of a vehicle and public nuisance, was arrested early on January 14 and granted court bail that same day.
Mr Jarrett had his charges mentioned on Wednesday, where they were adjourned until February 25.
This masthead previously reported the alleged incident unfolded about 3.20pm on Monday, January 13, when two vehicles drove into the car park at speed and disgorged their occupants, who began fighting.
Three people were injured, including a 17-year-old who was allegedly hit in the head with a hammer.
All three were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
