Motorists are being warned of lengthy delays across the next two weekends as a major Gold Coast road will be closed for repairs.

Motorists are being warned of lengthy delays across the next two weekends as a major Gold Coast road will be closed for repairs.
Nerang Connection Rd will be shut off from 8pm May 23 to 5am May 26 and again the following weekend as Transport and Main Roads repair the surface of the Nerang River Bridge.
Motorists will need to travel via the M1 instead across both weekends.
Traffic control will be in place to help direct vehicles, but motorists are being warned to allow for extra travel time with the expected delays.
Pedestrian access will remain open.
