Car ploughs into garage door on Lawson St, Upper Coomera

A car has crashed through a garage door after a collision at the Gold Coast, but no one was behind the wheel at the time. Find out what happened.

A parked car has ploughed through the garage door of a Gold Coast home, after a car involved in another crash rammed into it.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the three-car crash at the roundabout on Reserve Rd and Lawson St in Upper Coomera just before 9am on Tuesday.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said investigations into the cause of the collision are continuing, though no one was seriously hurt.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a woman in her 30s was assessed at the scene but did not need to be taken to hospital.
