A NEW Toowoomba venue looks to bring retro arcade games and pinball machines to an inner CBD building, and could be open in a matter of weeks.
A page for a venue Spacies popped up on Facebook earlier this week, which is said to include arcade and pinball classics.
The Chronicle understands the venue will be situated in Club Lane, inside the building that previously housed popular Indonesian restaurant Skewers.
"Spacies" is a nickname for the 1980s arcade classic Space Invaders.
Other machines that have appeared on the Facebook page include 1942 and Street Fighter II.
According to the Facebook page Spacies, which will offer a cafe style menu and a licensed bar, will be open in early September in time for Carnival of Flowers.
