Two hospitalised after multi-car collision in Geelong

A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after the crash.

Two people have been hospitalised after a crash near Geelong’s CBD.

Emergency services were called to a collision on the corner of Mckillop and Swanston streets just before 5pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said a man and a woman were transported to hospital.

“A man believed to be in his 70s and a woman believed to be in her 20s were both taken to Geelong University Hospital in a stable condition with back pain,” she said.

Two cars could be seen at the intersection significantly damaged.

A black car appeared to have its drivers side doors ripped off completely

A white car could be seen with damage to its front.

Police and firefighters were also on scene.
