Corio man identified in Gisborne fatal collision

A Corio man has been identified as the victim of a fatal collision in Gisborne on Tuesday morning.

A Corio man has been identified as the victim of a fatal collision in Gisborne on Tuesday morning.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Bacchus Marsh Road where a car and motorbike collided about 6.20am on Tuesday.

“The rider, a 35-year-old man from Corio, died at the scene,” she said.

“The male driver of the car stopped at the scene.

“He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing into the circumstances of the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dashcam/CCTV footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
