THE Toowoomba Grammar School graduating class dressed in their sharpest suits to enjoy a night of festivities at their formal.

The graduates were cheered upon their arrival by crowds at Rumours International on November 17.

Toowoomba Grammar School headmaster Peter Hauser said the formal was a great night enjoyed by everyone there.

"More than 160 school-leavers and their partners joined the boys' parents and the school staff in a celebration of friendship, hard work and achievement," Mr Hauser said.

The speeches were kept to a minimum at the venue and all the guests enjoyed a meal, dancing and conversation.

Toowoomba Grammar School 2018 senior prefect Ted Vary said he had an amazing time when he was at the school.

Mr Hauser said the students would not be judged for their OP results but for their integrity, loyalty, compassion and resilience.

"We teach the students who come through the school what it means to be men," Mr Hauser said.

"I am proud of the young men this year's graduates have become.

"I wish these young men all the best in their future endeavours."

The graduates concluded the celebrations with spine-tingling war cries and school songs.
