THE 2018 graduating class of Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparatory School celebrated the school’s first Year 12 formal night on Thursday.

THE 2018 graduating class of Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparatory School celebrated the school's first Year 12 formal night on Thursday.

The school celebrated the end-of-year formal at Preston Peak.

The small group of students dressed in sharp suits and dazzling dresses.

TACAPS head of school Simon Lees said he was proud of the effort the first Year 12 cohort had displayed throughout the year.

"This group of students paved the way for the younger grades in the school as pioneers," Mr Lees said.

"There were many emotions displayed when the school farewelled the graduating class on the day.

"I also want to thank the students' parents for the support they have provided to the school.''

Mr Lees said the graduating students had grown into wonderful young adults.

"It has been a special thing being able to watch these students transform into the wonderful young adults they have become," Mr Lees said.

"I wish the graduating class of 2018 the best of luck as they move forward in the future."
