TOOWOOMBA women's drop-in centre Protea Place has raised more than $32,000 thanks to an innovative three-venue fundraising night.
About 150 guests attended the inaugural Protea Place progressive dinner on Saturday, which featured three groups of 50 wining and dining through three different locations throughout the CBD.
Fitzy's Toowoomba, the Burke and Wills Hotel and The Rock served three courses, with each venue being themed for the night and guests entertained by live music.
Protea Place CEO Amanda Dalton said she was delighted with the outcome of the event.
"It was a fun filled night to raise awareness and vital funds, with the three groups simultaneously moving from venue to venue," she said.
Fundraising co-ordinator Emily O'Sullivan said the centre was now planning to run the progressive dinner as an annual event from next year.
