1. Travelling Film Festival
The Sydney Film Festival’s Travelling Film Festival is in Toowoomba all weekend, bringing the best in international and independent cinema to the region.
The program includes eight acclaimed films, from Oscar contenders to Cannes prizewinners, such as the uplifting “DJ Ahmet” and the Palme d’Or winner “It Was Just an Accident.”
Time: All weekend, with various screening times on Saturday and Sunday.

2. Dance Central Junior: Night At The Museum
Step inside the Empire Theatre for a magical, fun-filled journey where history and art come to life through music and dance. This 75-minute show follows what happens when the doors close, the lights dim, and the museum awakens.

3. Moo and Brew

7. Sunflower Fields
Take a short drive out to Lilyvale Flower Farm this weekend for the chance to capture their dazzling sunflower fields.

8. Toowoomba to Warwick Heritage Train Ride
Spend a full day exploring the region on a heritage train. This 10-hour return journey travels from Toowoomba to Warwick, where you will have lunch at the station and be given a museum tour before returning to Toowoomba in the evening.
