THE teens at Kiyua Performing Arts are changing the way Toowoomba perceives young people as they raise much needed funds for the RSPCA.
The group, which counts among its ranks an impressive 200 dancers, regularly perform flash mobs in the city, raising funds for various charities and organisations.
The RSCPA is their latest project and, on Thursday night, about 12 dancers met at the corner of Margaret and Victoria Sts for the impromtu performance.
Kiyua founder Sheridan Wright said the dancers, and the public, got a kick out of the display.

"They really enjoy it and we do tend to attract a lot of other kids," she said.
"The public really enjoy it as well because they get to see the youth of Toowoomba getting out there, having a go and doing something positive."
Ms Wright said Thursday night's performance was a freestyle production where the dancers did their own thing to the music, under the careful eye of the group's mascot, Frodo.
"He is the group's mascot and he is a rescue dog himself from the RSCPA," she said.

"He has also been on the stage himself as Toto in the Wizard of Oz production at the Empire Theatre."
Ms Wright said Kiyua decided to raise funds for the RSCPA after reading about the urgent need for funds and foods for the animals.
"We've read a lot of articles about how the RSCPA are struggling in being over-full and in need of foods and things for the animals," she said.
"We're hoping to pass on a couple of hundred dollars to the RSPCA to help them out."
