FOUR people have been taken to hospital after a serious two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway west of Toowoomba last night.
Emergency Services and a medical helicopter were called to the crash scene on the highway between Oakey and Jondaryan about 10pm.
A man in his 30s sustained head injuries and was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition after being extricated from the vehicle he was in by emergency services.
The other three patients included a man in his 60s with leg and wrist injuries, a woman in her 60s with chest and leg injuries and a man in his 30s with undisclosed injuries.
Each of those patients was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
Police remain at the scene this morning and investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
