A beautiful former church that was turned into a five-bedroom home north of the Toowoomba CBD is up for sale.
The old St Thomas' Church on Allan St in North Toowoomba has been put on the market through Colliers International, after a multi-year renovation.
In the online listing, agent Robbie Witt said the 132-year-old structure combined historical architecture with modern living, including three bathrooms, four living spaces, cottage gardens and air-conditioning.
"Originally built in 1885, this home now consists of five bedrooms, a separate office, three bathrooms and a total of four living spaces," he said.
"As well as beautiful cottage style gardens (with original lych gate) and off-street parking for three cars, you get all the grandeur you would expect from a previous place of worship.
"From the street, your excitement will already be building - seeing the high roof lining and stained glass windows."
Mr Witt said the current owners were clever in utilising the arched roof to create more space for private living areas.
