One mum is launching a unique fitness class that’s leaving participants feeling confident and jumping for joy.

Boogie Bounce Toowoomba franchise owner Nadia Burton said the small group fitness class featured a choreographed, all-body aerobic workout.

“This is a pretty unique concept for Toowoomba so it’s exciting to be able to bring something new to the region,” Ms Burton said.

“A standard class includes a warm-up track to raise your heart rate, three or four dance tracks to maintain it, then a cool down track and strength and conditioning routine to target the core and glutes.”

The mother-of-three who is currently on maternity leave and studying fitness, said it was a great way to socialise and keep fit.

“After having my daughter Posie six months ago, I’ve been on my own weight loss journey and after a month of doing this, I’ve already seen a huge difference,” Ms Burton said.

“It’s great for mums who want to get back into exercise after having a baby, but because it’s low impact it’s also great for seniors and people with injuries.”

Hoping to one day expand to other locations across the region, the class instructor intends to travel to rural areas and deliver the program.

Classes launch on Monday, August 23 and will be held at Scouts Hall at 23 Geoffrey St, Mount Lofty.

Catering for all skill levels, participants aged 10 and up are welcome and the maximum weight capacity is 160kg.
