WITH 18 models and two half hour fashion parades, anyone who attended the recent Emerge Fashion Extravaganza at Grand Central should be experts on what's in this season regardless of age, size or shape.

The parades held on a European length catwalk at centre court were a feast of the very latest garments, shoes and hair from stores at Grand Central.

Stylist and fashion designer Carolyn Taylor-Smith was the creative behind the fashion parades putting together more than 120 individual outfits.

Organised to raise money for Teen Challenge's New Life Women's Centre the Emerge Fashion Extravaganza was attended by more than 200 eager fashionistas and supporters.

Teen Challenge's New Life Women's Centre focuses on young women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, depression, issues of suicide, self-harm, homelessness, and many other life controlling issues.

Unfortunately there are not enough beds for young women in Queensland who require residential help, so the facility in Toowoomba is in great demand.
