Emergency services to separate crashes west of Toowoomba

EMERGENCY services crews have been kept busy this afternoon with separate roll overs on highways west of Toowoomba.

EMERGENCY service crews have responded to two separate single vehicle roll overs west of Toowoomba this afternoon.

The driver of a car which rolled on the Moonie Highway 10km outside of Wesmar about 12.04pm was transported by Queensland Ambulance Service to St George Hospital in a stable condition with minor head injuries.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said the car was upturned onto its roof and blocked a single lane of the highway for a short while, however, crews were off scene by 2.08pm.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crew and an ambulance crew from Charleville attended a second single vehicle roll over on the Warrego Highway 20km east of Charleville at 12.58pm.

A man and woman in their 70s were taken by ambulance to Charleville Hospital, the man with bruising and injuries to his arm and hand while the woman had no obvious injuries but was transported as well, both in a stable condition.
