THE Chronicle's new drone has taken to the skies to show the latest progress of the Mort St upgrade project as part of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.
Taken on Sunday, the footage glides over the road from Mort St to Goombungee Rd.
The project will upgrade sections of Mort St to help to improve traffic flow to and from the Second Range Crossing.
Mort St will be upgraded from the intersection of Jellicoe and West Sts to the Second Range Crossing off-ramp.
There will be intersection upgrades at Hogg and Griffiths Sts, North St as well as West and Jellicoe Sts.
The project will also include significant drainage upgrades and landscaping.
The upgraded Mort St will provide a new northern entrance into the city from the bypass and will cater for future growth in Toowoomba's transport network.
