Drivers in Warrego Hwy crash escape serious injury

DRIVERS involved in a crash on the Warrego Hwy were lucky to escape serious injury after colliding at the intersection of O’Mara’s Rd at Charlton.

DRIVERS involved in a crash on the Warrego Hwy were lucky to escape serious injury after colliding at the intersection of O'Mara's Rd at Charlton.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.12am.

Wilsonton police beat officer-in-charge Senior Constable Alex Singleton said a man driving a white ute was travelling west when a man driving a 4WD tried to turn from O'Mara's Rd onto the highway in front of him.

The driver of the white ute was taken to Toowoomba Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
