LETTA Me Out is described as the "doll from hell" and is considered one of the most haunted dolls in the world.
The creepiest thing, it lives just a short drive from Toowoomba with Kerry Walton in Warwick.
The 200-year-old wooden, child-sized doll has been in Mr Walton's possession for about 40 years after he stumbled across it underneath a haunted house in Wagga Wagga.
Mr Walton brought the doll back with him to Queensland and that is when the doll's "eerie powers" began to show.
The first strange occurrence was when his two children woke up screaming one night saying the doll was talking and moving its head.
Many people over the years have also said they have seen it move.
Animals can't stand to be in its presence with dogs barking madly when they see it.
At one point many years ago Mr Walton decided to sell the doll as the family was struggling financially.
He drove Letta Me Out to a woman's house who was planning on buying it for $400.
But, Mr Walton couldn't get it out of the car.
"I physically couldn't get him out of the car. I can't explain it, it was some sort of force stopping me," he said.
Letta Me Out has appeared on many television programs around the world and has been examined by scientists at the Australian Museum in Sydney.
Based on the nails in his shoes they predict Letta Me Out is 200 years old and was hand-crafted by wandering gypsies in Eastern Europe.
It is made from wood, with real human hair, has glass eyes that see all and also has some sort of brain.
Seances have also said they believe the doll has a spirit of a young boy inside who died many years ago in a drowning.
This is backed up by it beginning to rain every time Mr Walton takes it anywhere.
