Did Drake just abandon his Aussie fans? Secret flight details revealed.

Canadian rap superstar Drake has cancelled the remainder of his Australian tour — including shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland – just hours after jetting out of the country.

Canadian rap superstar Drake has officially postponed his remaining Australian shows and New Zealand shows.

Ticket holders for the two final sold-out concerts in Australia — originally set for March 4 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and March 7 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney — received an email on Wednesday from Ticketek stating that next week’s shows will not go ahead as planned, citing “a scheduling conflict.”

“Due to a scheduling conflict, four of Drake’s 16 sold-out shows in Australia and New Zealand will be postponed. We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,” Ticketek’s email read.

“All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets may be released for sale at a later date.

“Original purchases will be valid for the rescheduled date without the need for exchange.”

The statement ended with an apology, saying “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon. We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”

While fans will have the option to hold onto their tickets or request a refund, no rescheduled dates have been announced.

It came just hours after the rap superstar abruptly left the country early this morning, raising fears that his remaining tour dates may be in jeopardy.

Online flight-tracking data shows Drake’s private Boeing 757 jet departed Australia at 6:41am, landing in Nadi, Fiji, at 12.04pm local time.

An hour later, the plane is scheduled to leave for Honolulu, Hawaii, for refuelling before touching down in Toronto at 12.10pm local time.

The departure follows speculation that surfaced during an exclusive afterparty at The Tax Office in Brisbane on Tuesday night, where sources claim members of Drake’s inner circle told guests they were “preparing to leave the country in a few hours”.

Drake is reportedly returning to Canada for “personal reasons”, though no official statement has been released by the rapper himself.

Meanwhile, Drake himself has yet to comment publicly on the postponement or acknowledge the sudden change in schedule.

His most recent social media post, uploaded to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, featured a photo of him wearing a Queensland Reds shirt and cap, captioned “Briisssssssvegas.”

Fans earlier on Wednesday took to social media to voice their frustration and heartbreak over the uncertainty.

“So unfair if he cancels,” one user wrote on TikTok.

“I hope this isn’t true bc I just used the last of what I had left to get me and my sister a ticket for her bday,” another fan lamented.

“I finally got tickets to the last Brisbane show, he can’t cancel.”

It isn’t the first time Drake has pulled out of scheduled performances.

During his It’s All a Blur tour in 2023/2024, the rapper cancelled 10 shows across six North American cities, many without an official reason.
