Toowoomba Regional Council approves Followmont Transport’s plans for Torrington depot

This transport company’s big plans for the future are coming to fruition, after Toowoomba Regional Council approved a new warehouse and depot.

Toowoomba Regional Council has approved Followmont Transport’s application to establish a transport depot and warehouse at Rielly St, Torrington.

The building will be used to warehouse goods prior to dispatch by road transport.

Plans approved by Toowoomba Regional Council show the warehouse will take up a gross floor area of 2982 sq m, while the office will be 393 sq m.

Up to 25 vehicles, of varying sizes, will be parked within the yard.

The site will cater for 10 office staff and 20 warehouse staff.

Followmont Transport is a family-owned, Queensland transport company, providing freight forwarding and logistics services across Queensland and New South Wales.

Followmont Transport purchased the land on which they are proposing the new warehouse from Hodge Holdings at the Proximity Business Park development in Torrington.
