A Toowoomba-based company has submitted a development application to subdivide one of the last remaining open blocks in Cranley.
Located immediately to the west of the Baillie Henderson grounds, Mira-Mar Developments Pty Ltd has applied to subdivide the 2.023ha block into 23 lots.
The lots would range in size from 504 sq m to 1844 sq m.
The council previously approved a similar development application to subdivide in 2015, which has since lapsed.
Access to the proposed lots would be through a new road connecting to Tor St, which would finish in a cul-de-sac in the developed area.
The existing house on the block would be demolished to make way for the subdivision.
The proposal is under assessment by Toowoomba Regional Council.
