Luxury property approved by Toowoomba Regional Council for Millionaire’s Row, Kara View Court in Rangeville

It’s one of Toowoomba’s richest streets, boasting extravagent mansions and gorgeous escarpment views. Now a new development has been approved on Millionaire’s Row.

A new two-storey luxury property with sweeping views of the Toowoomba Range is coming to one of the city’s wealthiest streets.

A local couple has been approved by the Toowoomba Regional Council for a massive four-bedroom home on Kara View Court in Rangeville.

Kara View Court is better known by residents as Millionaire’s Row for its concentration of extravagant homes overlooking the picturesque Lockyer Valley.

It is the first property to be lodged through the council’s planning and development team since 2012.

Approved plans submitted to the council by Precinct Urban Planning showcase a 600 sqm property with a lift, cinema, outdoor terrace, games room, pool and other luxury features.

“The architectural design is in response to the site’s hillside position, takes advantage of the expansive easterly views and in order to respond to the site’s significant slope, a number of stepped retaining walls and landscaped terraces have been incorporated into the building and site design,” the planning report said.

The 4000 sqm land the house will sit on was bought by the new owners early last year for a bit under $900,000.
