A small town southwest of Toowoomba could be getting its second major project in a month, after a developer lodged plans for a new set of units.
Base Up Building submitted plans to the council to create four two-bedroom units on 800 sqm of land at Forrest Street in Pittsworth.
According to the report by Precinct Urban Planning, each unit will feature an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area along with other standard amenities.
“Each unit is provided with direct access to private open space from a living area, with a minimum dimension of 4m and a minimum area of 16 sqm,” the report said.
“In addition, the proposal is situated directly opposite the Merv and John Hart Park which includes publicly accessible recreational open space and playground equipment.”
It comes just a few weeks after Tuana Park Pty Ltd lodged a proposal for 35 residential lots on Margetts Street.
They are two of just 11 development applications this year located in Pittsworth, which has a population of about 3000 people.
