People have until 5pm on April 19 to make submissions on the draft Border to Gowrie Inland Rail environmental impact statement.
To assist people in understanding the EIS, Australian Rail Track Corporation is hosting several information sessions around the region this month.
An EIS information session will be held at Southbrook on Wednesday afternoon from 4pm-7pm at the Southbrook Hall, Oshea Ave, Southbrook.
On February 18, there will be an information session held at the Yelarbon and District Solders Memorial Hall, Taloom St, Yelarbon, from 4-7pm.
On Friday, February 19, it will be Goondiwindi’s turn, with an information session held from 3-6pm at Gateway to Training, 15-21 Russell St, Goondiwindi.
Inglewood will have its information session from 8.30-11.30am on February 20, at the Inglewood Civic Centre, 18 Elizabeth St, Inglewood.
Then from 12.30-3.30pm on February 20, ARTC will host an information session in Millmerran at the Millmerran Community and Cultural Centre, Walpole St, Millmerran.
