Cyclist's face torn after colliding with car

A MAN'S early morning ride has ended in hospital after he collided with a car.

A MAN, aged in his late 20s, suffered a facial injury after he collided with a car.

The crash occurred at the intersection of MacKenzie St and Margaret St, about 7.30am today.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the man before transporting him to the Toowoomba Hospital.

Later a teenage girl was hospitalised for shock after a two-car crash in South Toowoomba.

A QAS spokesman said the teen was transported to hospital as a precaution.
