A man was nearly five times the legal blood alcohol limit when his ute hit two cars and ploughed through a fence in Curlewis on Wednesday morning, police allege.
Emergency services were called to Oceania Drive about 9.20am to find a Nissan Navara crashed into a car parked in the driveway of a property.
A yellow sedan, parked on the side of the road, appeared to have serious side damage.
It’s alleged the Nissan Navara was travelling along Oceania Drive before crashing into the vehicles and fence.
Victoria Police Acting Sergeant Emma Faliszewski said the driver and sole occupant of the ute, a 41-year-old Curlewis man, was not injured and allegedly returned a positive breath test at the scene.
She said he underwent further testing and allegedly returned a reading of 0.244 – nearly five times the legal limit.
The man’s licence was immediately suspended for 12 months.
He is expected to be charged on summons with traffic offences.
