Crews respond to two-car smash on Geelong-Ballan Rd, Moorabool
A person has been freed from their vehicle after two cars collided about 12km north of Geelong.

Emergency services had to free a man trapped in a vehicle after a head-on collision north of Geelong on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to Geelong-Ballan Rd in Moorabool about 9am.
The vehicles – a silver Mercedes van and silver Hyundai SUV – both had heavy front-end damage.
A Country Fire Authority spokeswoman said crews arrived to find one person trapped.
“Crews worked to remove the passenger, and the incident was declared under control at 9.13am,” the spokeswoman said.
The crash occurred about 150m from the railway crossing at Warners Rd.
Sergeant Matt Albon said the 32-year-old man, a 27-year-old and a child were taken to hospital.
Police closed a section of Geelong-Ballan Rd while the accident was cleared, but it was reopened just after 10am.
The crash follows a string of serious incidents across the region, including fatalities in Moolap and Colac West.
A 73-year-old Drysdale woman died after a Toyota Corolla and a white Mazda CX9 collided at the Bellarine Hwy in Moolap about 12.25pm on Saturday.
A 40-year-old female motorcyclist, from NSW, died after coming off her bike on Princes Highway near Corangamite Lake Rd in Colac West on Sunday.
The motorcyclist was then struck by a Toyota Landcruiser travelling in the westbound lane.
