36 roadworks announced by Toowoomba Regional Council this week

The Toowoomba Regional Council is constantly carrying out roadworks across the region, with the projects causing potential disruptions for motorists.

Here are 36 roadworks projects being carried out by the TRC to watch out for from Sunday.

CENTRAL DISTRICT

CRANLEY: Hermitage Rd East: Traffic disruptions may occur during roadworks. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

EAST TOOWOOMBA: Krause Court: Traffic disruptions may occur during kerb and footpath works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

FORMARTIN: Jondaryan St Ruth Rd (Taylor Rd to Bowenville Norwin Rd): Closed to through traffic during road works. Signage and speed reductions will be in place, as required.

GLENVALE: Greenwattle St (Glenvale Rd to Taylor St): Traffic disruptions may occur during kerb repair works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

HIGHFIELDS: New England Highway (Mitchell Rd to Toowoomba Christian College entry): Traffic disruptions may occur during cycleway construction. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

KEARNEY SPRINGS: Stenner St (Ruthven St to Hume St) and Hume St (Stenner St to Audrey Court): Traffic disruptions may occur during night roadworks. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

KINGSTHORPE: Petersens Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during works at Settlers Park. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

NEWTOWN: Holberton (Hill St to Anzac Ave): Traffic disruptions may occur during pedestrian ramp reconstruction works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

OAKEY: Campbell St: Traffic disruptions may occur during footpath works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

BRIMBLECOMBE RD, WEEDON RD, GOWRIE MOUNTAIN SCHOOL RD: Traffic disruptions may occur during gravel road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

TOOWOOMBA CITY: Gowrie St and Campbell St intersection: Traffic disruptions may occur during drainage upgrade works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

SOUTHERN DISTRICT

CLIFTON, East St: Minimal traffic disruptions may occur during footpath kerb and channel works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

MILLBROOK BACK PLAINS RD: Traffic disruptions may occur during gravel re-sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

BROOKSTEAD:

Saal Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road rehabilitation works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Brookstead Norwin Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road stabilisation. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

FELTON:

Felton Clifton Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road stabilisation works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Pittsworth Felton Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road stabilisation and shoulder grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

VARIOUS ROADS

CLIFTON AREA: Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

VARIOUS ROADS MILLMERRAN AREA: Traffic disruptions may occur during gravel re-sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

VARIOUS ROADS PITTSWORTH AREA: Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

TUMMAVILLE/KINCORA AREA: Tummaville Rd (North Branch Bridge): The North Branch Bridge on Tummaville Rd has been closed until further notice, due to the identification of structural issues during a post-incident inspection. A side track for local traffic is in place (for dry weather only) and all other traffic is advised to seek an alternative route. Construction is underway to rectify the issue. Works are scheduled to be completed early 2021.

RESEAL PROGRAM 2020/21: Traffic delays and disruptions may occur during bitumen reseal work. Loose stones expected to occur in the weeks after the works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

NORTHERN DISTRICT

ANDURAMBA: Anduramba Range Rd: Closed.

GOOGA: Nukku Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

HAMPTON: Davidson Lane: Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

HIGHFIELDS: O’Brien Rd (Highfields Rd to Sean McCarthy Rd): Road closed to through traffic for road works until Monday 16 November 2020. Signage and speed reductions will be in place, as required.

HIGHFIELDS: O’Brien Rd (Highfields Rd to Clarke Rd): Traffic disruptions may occur during Rd works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

JONDARYAN: Ernst Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

MERINGANDAN WEST: Meringandan – Shirley Rd (Meringandan School Rd and Browne Rd): Traffic disruptions may occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

MOUNT KYNOCH: Goombungee Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

UPPER YARRAMAN: Hobbs Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.
