“This is such an exciting milestone for us,” she said.

“We were so happy to hear that one of our customers had walked away with this incredible win.

“We hope they really enjoy their prize and we hope it’s the beginning of plenty more.”

Instant Scratch-Its spokeswoman Lauren Cooney said she was sure Queensland’s latest winner would enjoy the windfall.

“No matter how they enjoy their prize we are sure it will give them a boost,” she said.

In 2020, there were 177 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across The Lott’s jurisdictions, with winners collectively taking home more than $16 million.

The identity of the shopper was not revealed to The Lott.
