CLEARER skies and warmer temperatures will still bring a slight chance of rain to Toowoomba today.
After a chilly start to the weekend, temperatures hover around the mid-20s today, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
"Slight (20 per cent) chance of a shower in the east, near zero chance elsewhere," the forecast for the Darling Downs and Granite Belt region read.
"Winds southeasterly 15 to 20km/h, increasing to 20 to 30km/h in the morning, then turning easterly in the late morning and afternoon.
"Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 (degrees) with daytime temperatures reaching around 30 (degrees)."
A low to moderate fire danger rating is in place for today.
